Meme Vault Official Rules
Version 1 · 7 November 2026 · back to Meme Vault
1. Organizer
Meme Vault is organized by [NAME / COMPANY NAME], registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number [KVK NUMBER],
[ADDRESS], the Netherlands ("the Organizer"). Contact: [EMAIL].
2. What Meme Vault is
Meme Vault is a drawing contest. Participants draw their own meme in the editor on the website. Winners are chosen on
merit: first through ratings by other participants, then by a jury. There is no random draw and chance plays no part in
deciding the winner.
3. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older when you submit an entry.
- You enter as an individual, on your own behalf. One person counts as one participant, even if you use several wallets.
- You do not live in a country where taking part in this contest is prohibited, and you are not on any national or international sanctions list.
- The Organizer, jury members and their immediate family or household members cannot win prizes.
- If you do not meet these requirements, you are not entitled to any prize and your entry fee is forfeited.
4. Entry fee and taking part
- Each entry costs $1, paid in SOL from your Solana wallet. The amount of SOL is calculated from the SOL/USD market rate at the moment you enter and is shown before you pay. You choose one competition per entry.
- Before submitting your own meme, you rate 10 memes from other participants in the same competition (fewer if fewer than 10 exist yet).
- You may enter more than once. Each entry costs another $1 and requires another 10 ratings.
- Entry fees are non-refundable, including after disqualification, unless the Organizer cancels a competition (see section 11).
- Network fees are your responsibility. Payments sent to the wrong address or from the wrong wallet are your responsibility.
5. Competitions
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly: close at 00:00 (Amsterdam time) at the end of the day, on Monday 00:00, and on the 1st of the month 00:00.
- $10K, $100K and $1M Vault: close as soon as the pot reaches the stated amount. Vaults have no end date.
- The pot of a round is 90% of all SOL paid in for that round. The remaining 10% goes to the Organizer.
- The dollar value of each entry is recorded at the moment of entry. A Vault closes when the recorded dollar value of its pot reaches the stated amount. Because the pot is held and paid in SOL, its dollar value may be higher or lower when the prize is paid.
6. Entry requirements
- Your meme must be drawn by you in the Meme Vault editor. Do not copy or trace other people's work.
- Not allowed: hate speech, discrimination, sexual content, violence against real people, other people's personal data, advertising, or anything illegal.
- Entries that break these rules are disqualified and removed.
- You keep ownership of your drawing. You give the Organizer a free licence to show your meme on the website, in livestreams and on social media, credited with your (shortened) wallet address or nickname.
7. How the winner is chosen
- Community round: other participants rate every entry from 1 to 5 stars. The score is a weighted average, so that a meme with only a few votes cannot unfairly end up on top.
- Final: the top 100 advance. The jury picks the winner from them, live on stream, on
humor (40%), originality (30%) and execution (30%).
- The jury's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into about the result.
- If there is no valid winner (e.g. after disqualification or failed verification), the prize goes to the next entry in the jury's ranking.
8. Fair play
You may not influence the outcome with multiple accounts or wallets, bots, vote-trading agreements, or deliberately unfair ratings
(for example giving everything 1 star to push others down). If fraud is suspected, the Organizer may void entries and ratings and exclude
participants. Any prize is then forfeited.
9. Prizes and payout
- The winner receives the pot of that round in SOL, sent manually by the Organizer to the wallet used for the entry. Dollar amounts shown on the website are indications; the prize is the amount of SOL in the pot.
- Before any payout, the winner must claim the prize on the website within 30 days by providing an email address and full legal name and signing a message with the winning wallet. The Organizer then contacts the winner by email.
- For prizes of $2,000 or more, the winner must verify their identity and age before payout, through a verification method chosen by the Organizer. For smaller prizes the Organizer may also ask for this, for example if it has doubts about age or fair play.
- If any gaming tax or other tax is due on a prize, the Organizer pays it to the tax authority and deducts it from the prize. The winner receives the net amount.
- If you do not claim or complete verification within 30 days, or it turns out you do not meet section 3, the prize is forfeited and goes to the next entry in the ranking.
- After a successful claim (and verification where required), the prize is paid within 14 days.
- Prizes are personal and cannot be transferred.
10. Announcement
Winners are announced on stream and on the website by shortened wallet address or nickname. If you want a nickname, let us know after winning.
11. Liability and changes
- The Organizer is not liable for outages of the website, wallets or the blockchain network, or for losses caused by a participant's own mistakes.
- In case of force majeure, large-scale fraud or a legal obligation, the Organizer may change, pause or cancel a competition. If a round is cancelled, participants in that round get their entry fee back.
- The Organizer may change these rules. Changes apply to new entries, not to entries already submitted.
12. Privacy
We store your wallet address, your entries and your ratings. Winners also give us their email, name and optional contact details for the
payout. Identity documents are only requested from winners where required, are used only for verification, and are deleted once the payout
is complete, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Questions or requests about your data: [EMAIL].
13. Complaints and governing law
Complaints can be emailed to [EMAIL] within 14 days of the result. These rules are governed by Dutch law.
